The statement that Snopes endorsed the false claim that Obama is a Muslim radical is an example. So we find it disappointing that they continue to circulate.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>via <a href=\"http:\/\/andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com\/the_daily_dish\/2008\/01\/the-sliming-of.html\">Andrew Sullivan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So, now those forwarding these email are not only seen as lazy and gullible (by me), but also as, for some reason, making a greater effort to forward these lies than it would take to check their veracity &#8211; which kind of contradicts the laziness thing on a level.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There are many, many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patriots247.com\/forums\/lofiversion\/index.php\/t2142.html\">morons<\/a> out there; and that some of them will take the time to post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conservativesforum.com\/cgi-bin\/conservative\/YaBB.pl?num=1199794436\/0\">this absolute crap<\/a> on a forum rather than taking a minute to fact check astounds me.\u00a0 The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.libertypost.org\/cgi-bin\/readart.cgi?ArtNum=173154\">drivel<\/a> that is forwarded does not even pass &#8220;the smell test&#8221;.\u00a0 Anyway &#8211; it pisses me off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FactCheck.org had this to say about the Obama smear email I wrote about yesterday: Such attacks usually can be disproved with less effort than it takes to forward them to others.
