(Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/profiles\/joewcampbell\">me, Joe Campbell<\/a>.)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Right now, I&#8217;m the top ranked &#8220;Joe Campbell&#8221; in the profile results &#8211; probably because of Google&#8217;s awesome ranking procedure &#8211; described by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infoworld.com\/d\/adventures-in-it\/your-own-private-google-586\">Robert X. Cringley<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0Google will rank the results just like it does any other search, by sprinkling magic G-dust over the Web and murmuring a super secret incantation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Whatever the explanation of how Google&#8217;s ranking system work &#8211; I like the results it delivers &#8211; and it seems to like me (and this blog, 2parse.com.)<\/p>\n<p>Still working on getting this blog, which is to say <a href=\"http:\/\/2parse.com\/\">the blog of Joe Campbell<\/a> &#8211; or any of my other pages (<a href=\"http:\/\/jwcampbe.com\">jwcampbe.com<\/a> for example) into the top page results for <a href=\"http:\/\/2parse.com\/\">Joe Campbell<\/a>\u00a0who is me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am not the only person to be excited by the new Google Profiles feature.
