{"id":479,"date":"2008-05-28T11:48:42","date_gmt":"2008-05-28T16:48:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/2parse.com\/?p=479"},"modified":"2008-05-28T11:48:42","modified_gmt":"2008-05-28T16:48:42","slug":"dunkin-donuts-the-coffee-of-jihadists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2parse.com\/?p=479","title":{"rendered":"Dunkin Donuts: The Coffee of Jihadists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/2parse.com\/\/images\/rachelray.jpg?w=580\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>[digg-reddit-me]Rachel Ray was outed as a terrorist sympathizer and Dunkin Donuts was declared the official coffee of Al Qaeda ((Munchkins were declared an essential part of the ideal pre-suicide bombing meal.)) as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.townhall.com\/Columnists\/MichelleMalkin\/2008\/05\/28\/rachael_ray,_dunkin_donuts_and_the_keffiyeh_kerfuffle\">Michelle Malkin, super-heroine extraordinaire<\/a>, protected Americans from the <em>jihadist <\/em>message hidden within a recent Dunkin Donut commercial.<\/p>\n<p>We should all be thankful that Malkin is out there, patrolling our culture, and protecting us from this filth.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Malkin&#8217;s heroically supersensitive ability to be extremely offended (and to get other people to follow her ((Or is it &#8220;sheeple&#8221;?)) ), Dunkin Donuts has finally <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2008\/05\/28\/dunkin-donuts-pulls-ad-fe_n_103859.html\">renounced terrorism<\/a> and removed this ad from circulation.<\/p>\n<p>Some liberal pansies may ask when a scarf is just a scarf.\u00a0 But what these liberals don&#8217;t get is that patriotism is not a function of &#8220;loving&#8221; one&#8217;s country; patriotism is not about wanting to make America a better place; and patriotism is certainly not about &#8220;independence.&#8221;\u00a0 And treason does not include things like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ajc.com\/meetro\/content\/news\/stories\/2008\/05\/27\/mcclellanbook_0527.html\">deceiving a nation to start a war of choice<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.halliburton.com\/\">looting the government treasury<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spiegel.de\/international\/0,1518,druck-369448,00.html\">allowing our sworn enemy to determine our foreign policy<\/a>.\u00a0 ((Oddly, as awful as all of these are, none of them necessarily fit the bill of &#8220;disloyalty to one&#8217;s nation.&#8221;))<\/p>\n<p>What patriots like Michelle Malkin get is that patriotism and treason are not about intentions and actions, but about style.\u00a0 I know Michelle Malkin is a patriot because she is always on the lookout for <a href=\"http:\/\/michellemalkin.com\/2007\/10\/04\/picture-this-barack-obamas-presidential-seal\/\">traitors<\/a> (who all happen to be Democrats.)\u00a0 She also talks about patriotism a lot, and I&#8217;m sure she wears a flag pin all the time (even though I could find a picture of her wearing one for this article.)\u00a0 Rachel Ray is obviously a <em>jihadist<\/em> because she wore a scarf that looks kind of like <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Keffiyeh\">a traditional Arab headdress<\/a>.\u00a0 That&#8217;s also how you can tell that Arabs hate America &#8211; because so many of them wear these <em>keffiyeh<\/em>s.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why everyone can see how ridiculous it is that presidential candidate (and <a href=\"http:\/\/2parse.com\/\/?p=467\">super-secret Muslim<\/a>) Barack Obama considers himself a patriot.\u00a0 He said he stopped wearing flag pins because people used them as substitutes for &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/story?id=3690000&amp;page=1\">true patriotism<\/a>.&#8221;\u00a0 What he doesn&#8217;t get is that patriotism is only about the fashion statements.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/2parse.com\/\/images\/gwbush.jpg?resize=423%2C450\" alt=\"\" width=\"423\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And as for those <em>jihadists<\/em> at Dunkin Donuts who claimed to not know what a <em>keffiyeh <\/em>was, Malkin has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.townhall.com\/Columnists\/MichelleMalkin\/2008\/05\/28\/rachael_ray,_dunkin_donuts_and_the_keffiyeh_kerfuffle?page=2\">ready-made response<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Ignorance is no longer an excuse.
